All plans are prepaid. No refund will be issued once the service has been activated.

Prepaid Nature of Service

All broadband plans offered by Mohali WiFi are prepaid in nature. Payment is collected in advance for the chosen plan duration (typically 30 days, unless stated otherwise on the plan card). Service is delivered against the advance payment received.

No Refund After Activation

Once a plan has been activated on your line, the payment becomes non-refundable. This is because bandwidth, IP allocation, and network resources are committed to your connection immediately upon activation.

We do not offer partial refunds for unused days. If you stop using the service mid-cycle for any reason, the remaining balance of the plan is not refundable.

No Cancellation After Activation

An active plan cannot be cancelled before its scheduled expiry date. You may choose not to renew at the end of the cycle — the service will simply lapse after the expiry date and no further charges will be made.

To stop the service permanently, please write to us at least 3 days before your current plan's expiry so we can mark the account for closure.

Duplicate Payment Refund

If you accidentally make the same payment twice (for example, due to a network error during checkout that caused you to retry), the duplicate amount will be refunded to your original payment method.

Order ID required

To request a duplicate payment refund, email support@mohaliwifi.com with both Order IDs (or transaction references) so we can verify and process the refund quickly.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Email support@mohaliwifi.com from your registered email or WhatsApp us at +91 94640 01234.
  2. Mention your registered mobile number, Order ID of both transactions, and a screenshot of each payment (if available).
  3. Our team will verify the transactions with our payment gateway within 2 working days.
  4. On confirmation, the duplicate amount is refunded to the original payment method within 5–7 working days.

What Is Not Refundable

  • One-time installation, cabling, or equipment charges, once installation work has begun.
  • Recharge of an active plan — additional recharges extend validity but are not refundable.
  • Service downtime due to events outside our control: power cuts, force majeure, ISP backbone issues, or scheduled maintenance announced in advance.
  • Service interruption caused by non-payment, misuse, or violation of our Terms & Conditions.

A Note on Speed & Service Quality

Internet speed is the upto speed mentioned on your plan and may vary based on network conditions, Wi-Fi setup, device capability, and time of day. Variation in speed is not a ground for refund. For genuine connectivity issues, our support team works to resolve them at no extra cost.
